## Bitspace _DROPPED_

[Project board of Bitspace](https://github.com/Syndamia/Shower/projects/2)

❗Project closed (unfinished) due to impossibility of adding wanted features (very bad code structure + lack of knowledge)❗
* 11.04.19 - 19.05.19 (stopped working on it on 15.05 but officially ended it on 19.05)

***

* How it began

The idea was there since the begging of my C# learning, ever since I could write strings on the screen. But at the time, my knowledge wasn't enough for something like that. I wanted to make an open world game, where you explore, build and fight (something like Minecraft).

* Coding it

The whole game is coded in C# (Console app (.Net framework)). The problem is that console applications aren't made for graphics. That poses interesting challenges and limitations, part of the reason I chose to code the game in them.

* Goals

Have a fun and enjoyable game, with a lot to explore, build and do.

* Mechanics that need to be implemented
  - Random map generation
  - Multi level map (underground) generation _dropped_
  - Mobs that you can fight or befriend _half dropped_
  - Fighting and health system
  - Biomes that can help or harm you
  - Items (and weapons) system
  - Building and mining/breaking system
  - Random structures _dropped_
